Miss Curaçao 🇨🇼 Akisha Albert was considered by some fans as "the lucky charm of the Philippines" in the international (both major and minor) pageant stages just like Olivia Jordan 🇺🇸.

Let's talk about Miss USA 🇺🇸 Olivia Jordan first. When she joined Miss World 2013, Megan Young of the Philippines 🇵🇭 won. Then, when she joined Miss Universe 2015, Pia Wurtzbach of the Philippines 🇵🇭 won. How about this, Jordan was part of the panel of judges during the 2016 Binibining Pilipinas to select 6 winners to compete in 6 different international (both major and minor) pageant stages such as, Miss Universe, Miss International, Miss Supranational, Miss Intercontinental, Miss Grand International and Miss Globe. Luckily/coincidentally, Jordan was the judge tasked to ask the final Q&A to Kylie Verzosa who eventually won Miss International 2016. And take note, among the bunch, Verzosa was the only one took home the crown.

Same thing with Miss Curaçao 🇨🇼 Akisha Albert. When she Joined Miss Earth 2014, Jamie Herrell of the Philippines 🇵🇭 won. When she joined Reina Hispanoamericana 2017, Teresita Marquez of the Philippines 🇵🇭 won. And then she joined Miss Universe 2018, Catriona Gray of the Philippines 🇵🇭 won.

Coincidence? Of course. Lucky charm? Totally!

Mister Model Worldwide 2018 is Carlo Pasion of the Philippines 🇵🇭

Mister Model Worldwide 2018 was the first international modelling competition for men created by Rubaru Group with headquarter in India, following the success of Miss Supermodel Worldwide. The motto of the competition is "Muscles with intellect".

Miss Universe 2018 is Catriona Gray from the Philippines 🇵🇭

Miss Universe 2018 was the 67th Miss Universe pageant, held on December 17, 2018 (local date at 07:00) at Impact, Muang Thong Thani in Bangkok, Thailand.

Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters of South Africa crowned her successor Catriona Gray from the Philippines.

The show hosted again by host-comedian Steve Harvey and supermodel Ashley Graham, while television personality Carson Kressley and runway coach Lu Sierra will provide commentary and analysis throughout the event. American singer-songwriter Ne-Yo will perform during the competition.

Contestants from 94 countries and territories participated in this year's pageant, surpassing the previous record of 92 contestants in 2017.

Miss Supranational 2018 was the tenth anniversary jubilee gala of the Miss Supranational competition on December 7, 2018 for the fifth time in Krynica-Zdrój, Poland.

The jury were all previous winners of the competition. The winner received 100 thousand dollars as a reward. A total of 72 entrants.

Manushi Chhillar of India crowned her successor Vanessa Ponce of Mexico at the end of the event. She is the first Mexican woman to win Miss World. 118 contestants competed for the crown.
