Reiana Hispanoamericana 2017 final moment

Miss Earth 2018 is Nguyễn Phương Khánh of Vietnam 🇻🇳

My first blog entry is the Miss Earth 2018. My interest for the show started when Carousel Productions, creator of Miss Earth pageant, didn't renew the broadcast contract with ABS-CBN when basically they have been with them for 16 years (2002-2017). Their first year was with RPN 9. So it's safe to say that they grow-up with ABS-CBN until becoming a lady. It's like a rebel stage of a teenager that now she's all grown-up and at the legal age, which is 18, she can now decide whatever she want to do in life. But of course, they have their own reasons. I myself, as a follower of the show, I feel like why not make the Miss Earth Pageant have the same importance that they've given to Binibining Pilipinas and Miss Universe. I felt sad but at the same time, maybe it's about time to explore because maybe, GMA can give what they needed.

To be honest, I'm no pageant expert nor an avid fan of any sort but I like to keep tracking them. I don't know. I just feel like since I've seen them on TV or social media with the crown on their head, title on their shoulder, it made me feel the need to know their names and social media as of the moment. Hahaha

Miss Earth 2018 with the theme "Goddesses of the Earth" was the 18th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, held on November 03, 2018 at Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. Hosted by James Deakin. It was aired on GMA Network on November 04, 2018 on Sunday Night Box Office time slot.

There were 87 candidates vying for the title.
